CCRB is a public record of anti-Christian, anti-Catholic and pro-Satanic content in video games — what is in a game, how central it is, and the evidence for saying so.
Parents, pastors and players who want this information have had nowhere to get it systematically. Existing ratings answer different questions: the ESRB rates violence, language and sexual content; review sites rate quality. Nobody was keeping a consistent, sourced record of religious content, category by category, with the reasoning shown.
Every record opens with a determination — the highest severity found in any single category — and a one-sentence answer. Below it, all five categories are listed, including the ones that found nothing, because a category showing none is a finding and not an omission. Each flagged category states its basis; each record lists its sources and the date it was reviewed.
Records that found nothing are published too. A game absent from a catalogue like this tells a reader nothing: it could be clean, or simply unexamined. A no-concerns record states that it was examined.
It is also not a general content rating. A game recorded here as no concerns may still contain heavy violence, profanity or sexual content. For those, see the ESRB and Common Sense Media.

If a record is wrong — a miscategorised game, a missed scene, a source that does not hold up — it should be corrected, and the correction should be visible. When this site launches publicly, a correction route will be published here.
