The chief villain holds the title “Pontiff,” ruling the “Church of the Deep” from its cathedral. Pontiff Sulyvahn corrupted an order of holy knights into fanatics worshipping a flesh-devouring abomination, sacrificing the faithful to him inside the sanctuary.
