Three Hopes retells Three Houses as a musou campaign on an altered timeline. The setting's religious structure is unchanged: the Church of Seiros governs from Garreg Mach under Archbishop Rhea, fields its own Knights, venerates a Saint, and maintains the orthodoxy that the schismatic Western Church broke from. The player again chooses a house and a war, and routes again place the Church on the opposing side. What differs from Three Houses is the resolution rather than the institution, and the specific act that earned the earlier record its Deicide rating — killing Archbishop Rhea on the Crimson Flower route — does not carry over in the same form, which is why this entry is rated lower.
