The Talos Principle 2

Determination: Ambient — Denial 1

Carries the first game's Elohim framework as inheritance, but its arguments move from Genesis to philosophy of mind.

The Talos Principle 2 is built on the world the first game left behind: a machine civilisation living after humanity, with the events and vocabulary of the original — Elohim above all — as its inherited history. What it does not restage is the structure that earned the first game its determination: a voice claiming divine authority, a serpent-figure arguing that voice is false, and a tower the player is commanded not to climb. The sequel's debates are about consciousness, growth and what a civilisation owes its own future, conducted in philosophical rather than scriptural terms. The religious material is present as lineage, which is what ambient records.
